Kylan Lewis scored eight points as the Crocus Plainsmen beat the visiting Vincent Massey Vikings 26-28 in Brandon High School Basketball League junior varsity girls action on Monday.

Grace Mohr-Clark and Avey Demarce each had five points for Crocus, while Massey was led by Ashley Sullivan’s nine points and six from Saphiya Devlieger.

In the JV boys game, Nazrawi Babisso hit for 16 points and Logan Van Santen added 12 as Massey routed Crocus 71-29.

Simon Leckie, Gefferson Molina and Emmanuel Elias all had six points for Crocus.
