Taxpayers left with burden
I read every day in The Brandon Sun how the Conservatives are responsible for everything that isn’t working in our province. This, of course, comes from Wab Kinew and the NDP; no solutions are offered though, only criticism. If we are to take the NDP seriously, you have to wonder why they didn’t fix health care in the years they where in power and why did they leave such a huge financial mess that taxpayers were responsible for. I also read almost daily stories trying to explain the federal Liberals’ actions and criticizing the Conservatives for pointing out that the current federal government is the most corrupt, divisive, secretive and financially illiterate government in our history. Sadly, the results for taxpayers will be the same, a huge financial mess that we will be responsible for and very little to show for all that spending.
Important police work
So good to see positive stories about police work this week. The arrest in Ontario of a suspect in the 1983 slaying of two women and the arrests in Brandon of a number of suspects in a drug ring highlight the important work police do in our society.
