Premier polls low for a reason
Most days, what I read in our paper and on social media confirm why opinion polls rate our premier dead last in popularity in the entire country. The Nov. 12 article in The Brandon Sun quoting Ms. Stefanson is no exception. Just because COVID restrictions were lifted last March does not mean the virus can’t compromise our health and safety by precipitating a new wave. Add seasonal flu and RSV and convince me wearing a mask (not an inconvenience at all) isn’t a prudent decision. She thinks not. Time to step aside, Heather, and clear the leadership path for Wab Kinew.
Don’t really mean this
Thank goodness for Dr. Stefanson, Dr. Ford and their provincial counterparts. Politically based public health policy is definitely best practice! I wonder if they can cure this tongue-in-cheek thing that is afflicting me.
More productive discourse, please
I read your recent editorial with interest, and fully support the decision to remove Sound Off, for all the reasons you stated. I look forward to more productive public discourse in its place.
