HALIFAX – Cameron Whynot scored the shootout winner and the Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Québec Remparts 2-1 on Thursday in a battle between the top two seeds in the Eastern Conference.
Whynot’s marker followed teammate Jordan Dumais’, who tied it up after Nathan Gaucher opened the scoring in the fourth round of the shootout for the Remparts.
