Re: Animals need advocates
I totally agree with the writer who wrote in about the animal cruelty case. Penalties are a joke. We must speak out for the animals who cannot speak for themselves. They are our family, and unfortunately, some people treat their families very badly.
Student loan delays
It’s not fair that students have to potentially drop out of school because they haven’t yet received their loans from Manitoba Student Aid. The government is putting the affected students in an impossible position. Not everyone can afford to pay out of pocket, hence the need for a loan. Time for Manitoba Student Aid to get its act together.
COVID data
So now the province is going to provide even less data on COVID? How are we supposed to make informed decisions about a deadly virus when we don’t even have the necessary information to do so? It’s disappointing that Manitoba can go from being one of the best provinces in terms of reporting COVID data to now this.
